Welcome to our Puppy Pre-school Classes, where the journey of a lifetime begins for both you and your furry friend! Designed for puppies aged 12 weeks to 6 months, our classes offer a vibrant, engaging environment that sets the stage for fun, learning, and socialisation. Socialisation Opportunities
Socialisation is a critical component of our classes, and we take it seriously! It’s about your puppy understanding how to behave in the presence of other dogs first before being allowed unlimited acces to them. We pride ourselves on teaching good manners and social skills unlike alot of classes where it is just a complete free for all, with off lead play being the main focus. This just teaches a puppy all the wrong behaviours .

Comprehensive Curriculum
Our 8 week curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics, including basic obedience commands, lead walking/handling, recall, good manners, settling down, plus much much more. Each class builds on the last, ensuring a well-rounded education that prepares your puppy for real-world challenges.
With our engaging lessons and stimulating activities, your puppy will be learning without even realising it! In the final week there is a chance to put your pups new acquired skills to the test in our trick training competition where there is a prize for the winning pup. None of our pups leave empty ended. They all receive one of our famously, scrumptious biscuit medals. Freshly baked by Paul himself. Yum!!!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
What is the Puppy Pre-School Course?
It’s a completely online course designed to take you step-by-step through the entire first year of training your puppy.
It consists of 65 high-quality video modules that include practical demonstrations of all the key skills you will need, as well as the theory behind everything we do.
It teaches you exactly what to do, when to do it, and most importantly, WHY you should do it.
Because that’s the secret to becoming a high-level canine leader who can handle anything. Every single puppy is different, and every owner is different, so your experience may not look exactly the same as when Will does something or even another owner. You need to understand WHY you are doing what you’re doing so you can adapt and adjust as you go.

Puppy Training FAQ
This is because we limit the number of puppies in the class, so that training is done correctly. If there’s too many puppies in one class it’s just far too distracting and too stressful for you as owners. We do not have puppies off lead just running around having a complete free for all. Many puppy classes solely focus on the numbers, claiming this is good socialistion. Its not!! They are solely based on numbers to try and make more money. Puppies need to learn how to behave correctly in the presence of other dogs first, before being allowed of lead.
Providing your puppy has had its first vaccination then it is eligible to attend classes. The classes are for puppies aged 12 weeks – 24 weeks of age(6 months).
You puppy is welcome to come to puppy classes as long as they have had their first vaccination. This is in line with the WSAVA(World Small Animal Veterinary Association) recommendation. As the risk of exposure to disease in puppy class is very low and puppy socialisation is extremely important to prevent fear and/or aggression in later life.
Classes include general obedience, sit, down, stay, lead walking & lead handling, settling down exercises, trick training, controlled socialistion with other dogs, intro to recall and much much more.
